Ninja Saga is a flash based game playable on Facebook which allows a player to level a character, complete missions, and give him element specializations, weapons, or items.
One of the unique aspects of the game is that your character can have and train a pet. To aquire a pet, you need to get to level 20 and pass all five parts of the Chinun Exam, obtained from the Special Event Mission when reaching level 20. Some pets can be obtained before level 20 by inviting friends or paying during Easter season. You can have up to three pets, but only one can be active at a time.
Once you have completed these requirements and have the ability to obtain a pet, you can purchase one at the Pet Shop. There are several to choose from, and some pet choices are only obtainable for a limited time.
To train your pet, activate it to your character. Once activated, this pet will be rewarded 20% of any experience that your character receives. After your pet meets certain skill level requirements, you will have the option to give it skills from the Pet Panel. To buy skills for your pet, click on the “”Pet”" button at the bottom of the screen. Open the Pet Panel. Click the skill button that you’d like to teach to your pet, and pay the necessary Gold to purchase the skill for your pet.
Note there are three different types of pets – offensive, defensive, and supportive pets. You can train them based on their pet type, and often pairing the right pet with your element specilaization yields the most damaging results.
